Share moments... that make memories...

Hello from Homer, Alaska...

I live three and a half miles down the East End road in Homer. I have a large log home that I fell in love with that is just two streets up from the Kachamat Drive that skips the town and heads for the spit.
I am a gold miner's daughter who loves to tell stories of my family when I was growing up on the tundra north of Nome, Alaska.

I charge by the room which are $130 + tax for two people per night. Then if guests want the single beds in the loft-room (sleeps 4) it is $15 more per person. We have to pay for water. My grandchildren gallop up to the loft.
As of yet I do not take credit cards. I'm too stupid to learn. But I take checks if people are from the US.

Now, when my guests arrive, I do like to visit to learn a little about them and show some Alaskan hospitality.

For breakfast I serve sourdough pancakes and waffles. I give away sourdough starter and a recipe as it was given to me many years ago and went over the Chilkoot Trail.

Also I have a kitty. She is so loyal. She sleeps with me in the winter and if a guest likes her and is in the loft she will sleep with them.

Now let me say that we have wonderful B&B’s here so whoever you pick I know you will have a grand time. We are each a little different but we love to show off Homer.
