Greetings from Homer, Alaska!  I am a gold miner’s daughter with a log home that has a great view of the glaciers and mountains. I love sharing stories of my parents-and Herb and Elsie’s mining operation in Nome, Alaska from the thirties.. We even got a mountain named after them. They mined, when gold was only $35.00 an ounce.Below is a picture of my dad with 12 pounds of gold.

My log home has 3 bedrooms each with a private bath on the lower level. Also in the loft I have the 4th bedroom, a hand crafted bunkroom for four kids or four fishermen. The loft has a bathroom.
