Junee's Bed and Breakfast, Homer, Alaska.

Greetings from Homer, Alaska! I am a gold miner's daughter with a log home that has a great view of the glaciers and mountains.
I love sharing stories of my parents - Herb and Elsie's - mining operation in Nome, Alaska from the thirties.
We even got a mountain named after them. They mined, when gold was only $35.00 an ounce. Below is a picture of my dad with 12 pounds of gold.

My father mined for many years when one did not have a road to town.
You got to town by railroad on “Kougarock Leona,” your car on railroad wheels.
Thank goodness Alaska has changed. We have a fine road to my house.

Rooms

My log home has 3 bedrooms on the lower level; each with a private bathroom.

Also in the loft I have a 4th bedroom with a Queen bed, a hand crafted bunkroom with four single beds and a private bathroom.
Sleeps 6 people total.

Rates

My rate is $130 per night per room. Add 3% for Alaska taxes.

In bunk room, Two people are $130 and add $15 per extra person.
